The visual impact associated with a product or a service can affect the way it is perceived and the level of success it experiences in the marketplace.

Many people see visual communications as merely as a fancy way of saying "graphic design." There are two important distinctions that separate our brand of visual communications from standard graphic design. The first distinction is that we view visual communication as a "process." That is, by our problem-solving nature we include research and analytical skills in the creation of communications. Traditional graphic design focuses primarily on the form (or product).
        
The second distinction is that UDS’ visual communication skills includes many types of communications beyond strictly printed or electronic matter. These include the design of interactive computer presentations and integration of video, animation, sound, stored images and text.

Our visual communication/creative design team combines graphic design, illustration, animation, copywriting and custom and stock photography services. We provide solutions to problems, communicate ideas and help sell products or services through visually stimulating graphics and imagery.
        
We create images that can set the mood for a brochure, reinforce the message of a newsletter, or succinctly convey the theme of an entire advertising program. Ranging from subtle to forceful, humorous to serious, or realism to the abstract, our visual communication artists can convey thoughts and ideas in a way that enhances the total effect of the text and photography.
